Bewbush residents are invited to have their say on which play parks are removed during Crawley Borough Council’s (CBC) recreation consultation.
After protests the council has put park removal plans on hold to allow for a public consultation and published new proposals for the removal of 11 playgrounds in Bewbush.
Talk Bewbush, a group of local residents who regularly meet to discuss their neighbourhood, is holding a public meeting with the council to give residents an opportunity to put any concerns to councillors.
Ian Weller, chair of Talk Bewbush, said: “It is essential that we get as many people as possible to attend the exhibition and our public meeting so that the council is fully aware of Bewbush residents views before the make their final decision.”
The meeting will take place at Bewbush Academy, Dorsten Place, on the Tuesday (December) 4 at 6pm.
There will also be an exhibition of play park plans on Monday December 3 at the Bewbush Centre, Dorsten Square, from 5pm -7.30pm.
