A man who died after being hit by a train at Horley Station has been identified.
He was David McCallum, 28, from Redhill.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: “I can confirm that the person struck and killed by a train at Horley railway station, Surrey, on Wednesday May 28 has been formally identified as David McCallum, 28, from Redhill.
“Officers from BTP attended the incident, alongside colleagues from Surrey Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The incident was reported to BTP at 5.05pm and is being treated as non-suspicious.
“The man’s family have been informed and a coroner’s inquest into the death was opened and adjourned on Thursday (June 5).”
