Hospital League thanks for donation
The Furngate Club with Maria Haines of League of Friends of Crawley Hospital
THE FURNGATE Club have kindly donated £360 to the League of Friends of Crawley Hospital.
Maria Haines, of the League of Friends, said: “They have generously donated £360 pounds even though they are all in their eighties. They are all amazing.
“They have been running the Furngate Club at the Furnance Green Community Centre twice a month for over 47 years and are always looking for new members.”
The League of Friends of Crawley Hospital successfully raised an amazing £7,152 in five weeks over Christmas.
The group provide support and technical apparutus to patients, relatives and staff at Crawley Hospital and last year bought a mammography machine, which screens for breast cancer.
The Friends are looking froward to an Easter Fair on March 29 which will include a cake sale amd raffle.
