Crawley police are trying to reunite the the owner of a mountain bike with their machine after it was recovered in the town on Thursday night (August 30).

POLICE are trying to find the the owner of this mountain bike after it was recovered in Crawley last Thursday night (August 30).

The Felt Q200 was found in Maidenbower at around 10.30pm, but police believe it may have come from elsewhere in the town.

Officers are investigating a report that the bike was seen being ridden by two people before it was dumped in bushes.

Anyone who recognises the bike or who knows the identity of those seen riding it are asked to call Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 1834 of 30/08.
