Lions get knitting for special needs school

THE CRAWLEY Lions have been knitting Easter chicks for their April fundraiser.

The chicks will be filled with crème eggs and sold for £1 at the Crawley Garden Centre, Copthorne Road, from March 31.

Lions member Gary Davies said: “We have already reached 300 chicks out of our 400 target.

“This is the third year we have done this now and it is always very popular – we normally sell out.

“Every penny we raise will go back into helping the community.”

Crawley Lions will to donate some of the money to Manor Green School special needs department.
