Children at Pound Hill Pre-school raised £88 for Comic Relief.

Youngsters at the charity run Worth Road pre-school dressed in red and sold red noses.

In addition, there was a competition to guess what style pop star Jessie J would grow her hair back after she shaved it to raise money.

A spokesman for the school said: “We had fun activities during the day including making and cooking pizza muffins.

“The children created faces with different toppings and used cherry tomatoes for red noses.

“We had red water play, sensory red jelly play as well as many more fun activities.”
