Local groups shine at Bandstand Marathon

Waiting for Video...

QUEENS Square was the place to be at the weekend if you were on the look-out for decent local music.

Bands such as Prime Addiction, Tandem and Danny Dangerously and The Avengers entertained the crowds with four hours of original music as part of the Bandstand Marathon.

The concert was one of more than 500 which took part simultaneously across the country to mark the end of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Danny Dangerously – real name Dan Martin – said: “I really enjoyed it. It was great to do something like that in Crawley town centre.”
