A man has been arrested after a woman died following a collision in Crawley.

Lisa Watling, 28, of Kestrel Close, Langley Green, was critically injured on Sunday March 9 after a black BMW Z3 sports car, in which she was a passenger, left Crawley Avenue and collided with a fence at about 1.40am.

She died in hospital later that day.

Sussex Police said the 35-year-old man who had been driving the car has been released from hospital and arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
