Man dies after car crashes into tree

A driver has died after his car left the road and collided with a tree in Gatwick Road at 6pm last Tuesday (March 12).

Ronald Williams, 69, of Marshall Road, Maidenbower, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton. He died on Sunday (March 17). His passenger, a 68-year old Crawley woman, was treated for slight injuries at East Surrey Hospital. No one else was involved.
