A man from the Crawley area who collapsed and died in the car park at East Surrey Hospital died of natural causes, a post mortem has concluded.
Officers from Surrey Police were called to the hospital on Canada Avenue, Redhill just before 5pm on Tuesday (August 26) after the man in his 70s was found.
A police spokesman said the man - who has not been named - was taken into the Accident and Emergency department where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Surrey Police announced today (Monday September 1) that an investigation into the man’s death had been concluded that no third party involvement was suspected.
A post mortem, held on Friday (August 29), revealed he died of natural causes.
