Man found on roof of Crawley bank

Police and firefighters were called after a man was seen with a torch on the roof of the NatWest Bank in Crawley town centre.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire & Rescue said the crew was called to the scene, in The Boulevard, at 2.45am today (Tuesday August 5).

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “He came down when called to do so and it was established that there were no suspicious circumstances.

“He was taken to a relatives’ home by police.”
