Man left unconscious after Worthing assault

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an assault outside the Bar Next Door pub in Rowlands Road, Worthing.

The assault happened at around 2.15am on Friday (September 28) and the victim, a male in his 20s was left unconscious on the floor.

He sustained fractures to his cheek bone and nose, which now requires a serious operation.

DC Faye Satchwell-Bennett of West Sussex Division CID said: “We urge anyone who witnessed what happened or anyone who has any information to please come forward, to help us catch the offender.”
