Motorcyclist badly hurt in crash

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury collision in Copthorne.

Officers were called to Copthorne Bank at 6.20pm on Saturday (October 6) to a report that a green Landrover Defender and a black Suzuki motorcycle had been involved in a collision.

The motorcyclist suffered a serious leg injury in the collision and has been taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

The driver of the Landrover was injured.

Road closures are currently in place in Copthorne Bank at the junctions with Antlands Lane, Effingham Road and Redehall Road.
