Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash

A man has been taken to hospital suffering from head injuries after coming off his motorbike in Bewbush.

Emergency services were called to the A264 close to Sullivan Drive, just after 1pm today (Wednesday February 20).

The motorcyclist, who is in his 40s, was reported by paramedics to be suffering from head, knee and ankle injuries.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service added: “The person had come off a motorbike. The motorcyclist is currently enroute to East Surrey Hospital.”

Sullivan Drive is currently closed and traffic is queuing at Bewbush Manor roundabout.
