New Tesco store to create 19 jobs

A NEW Tesco Express store is set to open its doors in Crawley, creating 19 jobs for the town.

The store will open at Astral Towers on Betts Way later this month.

A spokeswoman for Tesco Express said the store had received 50 applications.

Store manager, Kevin King,said: “I was thrilled by the response we received to our recruitment drive.

“In this time of economic uncertainty, it is great that we are able to create jobs for our local community and help get people back into work.”

The store will also have a cash machine, self-service tills, bakery and 14 parking spaces.
