Immigration and the environment will be on the agendas of two neighbourhood forums at their next meetings.

The Gossops Community Forum will meet on Tuesday February 11 at 7.30pm at Gossops Green Community Centre, Capel Lane, off Gossops Drive.

As well as updates on local policing, the group will hear from Ruth Growney, of Crawley Borough Council, on wildflower seeding.

Among the projects planned by the group is a scheme with the Gatwick Greenspace Partnership to eradicate non-native invasive species from the Woldhurstlea Woods area on Wednesday February 19.

On Thursday February 6, the Southgate Community Forum will meet in Christchurch Hall, Brewer Road, at 7pm.

The main topic on the agenda will be immigration and the speaker will be Ministry of Justice Senior Immigration Judge Richard McKee, who will also take questions from residents.

All residents are welcome to attend and admission is free.
