Police are hunting for a man who exposed himself to a 12-year-old girl in Crawley and touched her on the bottom.

The child was walking along Ifield Avenue when the man exposed himself to her as he rode past on a bicycle.

The incident happened at around 4.10pm on March 19, police revealed today (April 24).

A short time later he passed the girl further down the road and touched her bottom over her clothing.

She told him to go away and went straight home and told her mum.

Officers have released an e-fit of a man they would like to talk to.

Detective constable Penny Furtado said: “This girl did exactly the right thing and told her mum and police. The suspect is described as white with tanned skin, dark blonde hair with grey bits on it styled in collar length curtains, and had stubble.

“This happened after school time and a lot of people might have seen this man riding his bike in the area or recognise him from this Efit.
