Police hunt hit and run driver after cyclist is hurt in Crawley

Police want to trace the driver of a blue Ford Fiesta which failed to stop after colliding with a cyclist.

The 20-year-old mountain bike rider suffered cuts and bruising and was treated at the East Surrey Hospital, Redhill.

The collision occurred near Southgate Avenue’s junction with Southgate Drive, Crawley, at 7.17pm yesterday (Thursday May 22).

The car drove off in a northerly direction.
