Police investigating a burglary at a property in Crawley have released a photo of man seen on CCTV they would like to trace.

On Thursday 3 January officers received a report of a burglary in a shed of a property in Berstead Walk, Bewbush, and approximately £2,000 of gardening equipment was stolen. The burglary took place at around 2.10am.

It is believed that two men left the scene of the burglary on foot with the stolen items.

Sergeant Rob Josephs of Crawley Neighbourhood Response Team said: “The theft of this equipment has severely affected a small business and I would ask anyone who saw suspicious activity or anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images to contact police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 217 of 3/1 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
