Population heads for one million

THE population of West Sussex is expected to rise to almost one million in the next two decades.

Information in the West Sussex Life 2012 report stated that the current population is 806,900, predicted to rise to 953,277 by 2033.

Currently there are almost 20,000 households on social housing lists in the county.
