QUEUES have been building at petrol stations this morning (Thursday March 29) as motorist filled up their tanks ahead of a possible fuel strike.

Following the Government’s advice to fill up the tanks when possible drivers have been queuing outside several petrol stations in Crawley and Horley.

ESSO in Horley, Shell on Longbridge Way, Horley, Texaco on Brighton Road and Tesco at Hazelwick all said they were busy with queues.

BP at Pease Pottage, Sainsbury’s, Tates on Fleming Way and Shell on Brighton Road, Horley, said they were busy but with only short waits.
