Rain hits Cuckfield Country Fair

Wind and rain were no match for the acrobatic skills of this eagle owl when it demonstrated it flying abilities at Cuckfield Country Fair.

The biggest and most powerful owl species in Europe was just one of many attractions that were put on by Haywards Heath Rugby Club at Whitemans Green despite the rain.

Attendance was down from the usual thousands to just hundreds but there was plenty to see for the brave souls who did defy the tempest.
