Crawley Lions knitting chicks

Crawley Lions knitting chicks

The Crawley Lions have been knitting chicks for their Easter 2013 fundraiser.

The dab-handed team will make as many chicks as possible before stuffing them with Easter eggs and selling them at the Crawley Garden Centre, in Copthorne Road, Wakeham Green. The mini creations will be sold for £1 each from March 24 for two weeks.

This year the Lions’ target is to make and sell 500 chicks. All the money raised will go to Manor Green School special needs department.
