A children’s centre has revamped its sensory room with a glow-in-the-dark carpet. Broadfield Children and Family Centre, in Creasys Drive, reopened the room on Monday (May 12) after closing for two weeks for refurbishment.

Fay Carling, 23, of Nelson Close, Maidenbower, senior early years worker, who took on the project, said: “A lot of parents have told us they can’t wait for it to open and they are excited about what changes we’ve made.” The improved room had flashing ‘bubble tubes’, checkered walls and glowing carpets.
