SNOW: Video - main roads clear day after heavy snow

Waiting for Video...

The main roads around Crawley and Horley were clear a day after the heavy snow.

Head of news Mark Dunford and his family went for a drive and filmed the roads around the town.

After leaving Tollgate Hill, they joined the M23, coming off at the Gatwick junction.

After driving through Horley (and stopping off for breakfast), they drove back through Massetts Road, the A23, passing the Gatwick Manor, before following the A23 to the Cheals roundabout and back through Broadfield.

Pavements still appeared to be treacherous so people should still take care out there.

But many families were out and about enjoying the snowy hills with sledges.
