Stage show of Calendar Girls

THE ARCHWAY Theatre Company is putting on a stage production of Calendar Girls.

Cast at the theatre, on The Drive, will be performing between September 25-29 and October 2-6.

The show is about a woman who decides to raise money to purchase a sofa for the visitors’ lounge in a hospital in which her husband died on leukaemia.

A close friend comes up with the idea of a nude calendar featuring their fellow members of the Women’s Institute and they end up raising a few eyebrows, as well as creating a nationwide phenomenon.
