Strummer gig to raise hospice cash

Crawley and Horley musicians will play a benefit concert in memory of late Clash frontman Joe Strummer and for St Catherine’s Hospice.

A Gig for Joe will feature Crawley three-piece Society, Pease Pottage songwriter-guitarist Mike Dobie, Horley new-wave punks the Water Pistols, Broadfield rapper Danny Dangerously, and metal outfit Leah of Crows, also from Broadfield. The show is at the Wingspan Club, Whitworth Road, County Oak, on Saturday February 16. For tickets go to www.wegottickets.com/event/194084.
