Kelly Proto, 32, from Southgate, cut her hair, which she has been growing since she was 14, in order for it to be made into a wig for a cancer patient. Signatures in Three Bridges performed the sponsored cut on Friday(October 19) free of charge.

Kelly said: “I will miss my hair as it’s something I am recognised for but I think to give someone who has lost their hair, the confidence to feel normal again, it’s worth having it cut.” Kelly has raised more than £400 for Cancer Research. To donate visit www.justgiving.com’kellyproto2404
