Theatre group raises money for charity

Othello's special needs theatre group performs Cinderella JPCO

Ariel Drama Academy’s Othello’s special needs drama group wowed audiences with its pantomime Cinderella to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The show on February 12 and 13 raised more than £2,200 for the charity. Nicci Hopson, director of Ariel, said: “It is an incredible amount of money and will go a long way to help us achieve our target.”

Ariel currently holds the Lady Diana Award of excellence for their work with special needs children and young adults.

The theatre company holds classes in Crawley, Burgess Hill and Horsham and is currently offering free trials .
