Three wards at East Surrey Hospital still closed to visitors

Three wards at East Surrey Hospital are still closed to visitors in an attempt to control the spread of the winter vomiting bug, norovirus.

Family and friends have been asked to stay away from Charlwood, Meadvale and Holmwood wards but visiting hours for other wards are 6pm-8pm.

A spokesman for the Surrey & Sussex NHS Trust apologised for any upset caused and said the situation would be reviewed daily.
