TRAFFIC NEWS: Accident on A23 - updated

AN accident northbound near the top of Handcross Hill on the outside lane caused long delays this morning (Thursday).

The traffic was down to one lane and causing queues all the way back to Warninglid.

The accident has now been cleared up.

Trains

Southern Trains services between Brighton and Three Bridges are subject to alterations, cancellations and delays of up to 45 minutes because of a signal problem in the Hassocks area. Replacement bus services are in place.

Southern Train services between Brighton and Gatwick Airport are subject to cancellations and delays of up to 60 minutes because of a broken down train. First Capital Direct services are also affected by this.
