Emergency services were called to Horsham Road on Monday (September 24) after a tree fell onto a lorry which was carrying gas tanks.

No one was injured during the incident, which happened at around 3.50pm, and no other vehicles were involved but the road was closed in both directions between the Cheals roundabout and Bewbush roundabout.

Fire crews were on site until 4.35pm and used a winch and chainsaws to remove the tree.
