Two taken to hospital following Crawley two-car accident

Two people were taken to hospital following an accident on Balcombe Road, Crawley.

Paramedics and firefighters were called at around midday on Saturday (March 29) following a two-car collision near the Parsons Pig pub.

A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance Service said two ambulance crews were sent to the scene.

He added: “There was a man with a bruise to his head and a woman with injuries including shoulder pain. Another woman was suffering from chest pain.

“Two people were taken to East Surrey Hospital for further checks after being treated at the scene.”
