UFO was like a 'ball of flames'

A MYSTERY UFO was spotted in the sky heading towards Gatwick Airport on Saturday night.

The Parker family from Mutton Hall Hill said they saw an object which looked like a ball of flames.

It appeared to be taking the usual flight path of planes coming in northwards from the continent towards Gatwick or Heathrow.

But it suddenly veered off to the east before going out of sight.

Karl Parker said: 'It could have been a military flare of some sort as it appeared to go with the prevailing wind.'
