Update: A23 reopens

The A23 southbound at Handcross has reopened after an accident.

However, long delays remain on the approach back to M23/J10.

The road was closed southbound at around 1pm today (Wednesday October 4) after a lorry left the carriageway.

The driver of the lorry has suffered serious injuries.
