Update: Cordon set up as firefighters tackle blaze at Crawley car yard

Firefighters have cordoned off a vehicle servicing yard in Crawley while they tackle a blaze involving four cars.

The fire, in Langley Walk, near Langley Green Farm, broke out at around 9.40am today (Thursday June 19)and thick black smoke could be seen billowing from the site.

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire & Rescue said four cars were alight and firefighters were using breathing apparatus as they fought to put out the flames.

The area was cordoned off due to the presence of Helium cylinders.

No injuries have been reported.
