Arrests have been made after at least one assault in Gossops Green Parade, Crawley, today (Monday October 22).

A spokesperson for Crawley police said ‘a number of arrests’ had been made.

Police have cordoned off large areas of the street and a woman said she saw two police cars and an ambulance in the carpark by Gossops Green Parade at 3am.

A businessman said he was told he could not go inside his premises in Gossops Green Parade until CID had completed their work.

Police were seen inspecting the steps leading up to the flats above the parade shops at about 9.45am and scenes of crime officers arrived at 10am.
