Crawley’s multicultural outlook was celebrated when the Hawth hosted the latest International Mela.
There was music, dancing and food in abundance on Saturday and Sunday (August 30/31)
Mela organiser, Koki Patel, who is chairman of the Crawley International Mela Association, said: “The International Mela is a festival that celebrates cultural diversity, music food and various customs.
“We are so lucky to have this in Crawley. I feel really proud of the rich diversity that we enjoy in Crawley.
“This is the one weekend in the year when all the cultures get together.”
