Waiting for Video...

Reporter Nikki Cutler saw skilled firefighters in action at Crawley Fire Station when she was rescued from a car wreck.

The rescue drill was undertaken to show how firefighters save casualties from their cars after they’ve been involved in a road collision.

The whole procedure, which took around 15 minutes, involved cutting off all the doors before removing the roof and pushing the dashboard forward to free the driver’s legs.
