VIDEO: Singing star Callie Rae scouted by record label

An Oriel High School student has recorded in professional studios following the finals of national talent competition, Open Mic UK.

Callie Rae Mead, 16, from Turners Hill, was one of 90 finalists to sing for the winning spot at the O2 arena on January 19.

Despite not winning, she recorded songs at a professional studio on Saturday (January 26) after winning 12.5 hours of recording time as well as being scouted by a record label.
