VIDEO: Twenty new jobs created in Crawley
Twenty new jobs have been created in Crawley after ventilation company Vent-Axia moved manufacturing of its fans back to the UK.
Crawley MP Henry Smith and the Mayor of Crawley, Cllr Keith Blake, went to the company’s headquarters on Fleming Way in Manor Royal to officially open the production line at its Made in Britain event on Friday (January 11).
Vent-Axia had been manufacturing its products in China and said the move back to Britain would help boost the local economy.
Mr Smith and the Mayor cut the ribbon before being given a guided tour around the factory.
Mr Smith said: “I’m delighted that locally based, world-class and innovative company Vent-Axia is expanding manufacturing in the UK creating 20 extra skilled jobs.
“I am proud that this iconic and historic company is creating high quality products made in Britain right here in Crawley.”
