Video: Woman rescued from fire in Furnace Green

AN ELDERLY woman had to be rescued and police are investigating after a fire broke out near a block of flats in Furnace Green on Friday (February 17).

The fire, on Warnham Road was reported at 3.50pm and crews were on site until 7.30pm.

The flats were evacuated when the blaze, which started in a bin, spread to a gas pipe.
