Volunteers spruce up Crawley school ground

Have your say

Volunteers from Legal & General and Cheltenham & Gloucester spent a day sprucing up the grounds of Gossops Green Primary School.

Among the work carried out, the teams painted railings, created a stone sculpture of the school logo – a swan – cleared weeds and laid a membrane of bark chips to prevent their return.

Headteacher Dawn Martin said: “They worked like Trojans and barely stopped for a break. We are very grateful for their support.”
