Warming up for big donation

Oriel School and Open House

Oriel School and Open House

Students from Oriel High School, in Maidenbower, raised £380 for Crawley Open House when they swapped their uniforms for warm and cosy casuals.

Each pupil made a contribution to the charity for those suffering from social exclusion when they joined a non-uniform week during the recent icy weather. Year 11 students Sam Trumpeter, Jamie Couper, Grace Robertson and Louise Brooks visited the centre and handed over the cheque to the charity director Peter Mansfield-Clarke.
