Weather alert warns of ice and snow

The Met Office has issued a weather alert for the weekend.

Expected outbreaks of sleet, snow and rain coupled with a drop in temperatures will leave roads and pavements icy.

Light snow is forecast for Crawley on Saturday evening (January 12) and into Sunday with temperatures expected to drop as low as -6 Centigrade.
