Wi-Fi launch on bus route

Metrobus has announced plans to introduce Wi-Fi on some of its routes if a two-month trial service proves to be successful.

Passengers travelling on the 400 service between Caterham and East Grinstead via East Surrey Hospital, Gatwick and Crawley, can now check their email and browse the web.

Metrobus’ commercial manager Nick Hill said: “One good thing about travelling by bus is that you can use the time productively while you travel.

“Passengers using route 400 can now take full advantage of this by connecting their mobile devices to high speed internet for free.”
