Woman arrested on suspicion of drink driving after crash

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash.

Emergency services were called to the A264, Five Oaks Road, Slinfold, on Tuesday (February 4) at 10.24pm.

A white Fiat had been travelling eastbound when it lost control and collided with a tree, police said.

A 33-year-old Crawley woman, who was driving, suffered serious injuries and a male passenger, 28, also from Crawley, suffered serious head injuries.

Two other people in the car, a man and woman, suffered minor injuries.

They were taken to St George’s Hospital, London.

The driver was arrested at the scene for drink driving and has been bailed until March.
