Woman helped from house after arson attack

A woman had to be helped from her home following what is believed to be an arson attack on Saturday morning in Crawley.

Firefighters were called to The Birches at 2.20am following a small fire in the kitchen.

A woman was helped from the house by fire crew using breathing apparatus.

A fan was used to help clear smoke.
