An intrepid cyclist will traverse the length of the country in aid of Crawley’s special school.

Amanda Collins will cycle from Land’s End, Cornwall, to John O’Groats, Scotland, in aid of Manor Green College on Friday (May 23).

Amanda said she expected to cover more than 1,000 miles accompanied by two friends.

More than £1,000 has been donated to Friends of Manor Green on her online fundraising page for the event.

On the page, she wrote: “Manor Green College is a fantastic special needs school in Crawley catering for all ages from pre-school to further education.

“They cater for children with mild, moderate and severe learning difficulties, instilling confidence and equipping them with essential life skills for the future.”
