Would-be robbers punched by victim
THE victim of an attempted robbery managed to punch his two assailants in the face before running off.
The man was walking alone down an alleyway in Three Bridges on Saturday night (September 8).when he was approached by two men who told him to hand over his phone and wallet.
He told the men to “do one” and was subsequently punched in the face.
The victim responded by punching his attacker in the face before being punched again in the ribs by the second man.
The victim punched the second attacker in the face before running down North Road towards Tesco.
The attackers were described as black men, of medium build and in their 20s.
One was said to be wearing dark clothing.
